Helping students develop academic skills
The Academic Success Program provides academic advice, guidance and learning support to all Pierce Law students on an individual and small group basis.
To help you develop and strengthen the academic skills necessary to be successful in Law School, the program holds workshops on time management, stress management, outlining and preparing for exams.
Students are offered an opportunity to participate in writing workshops which reinforce the skills being taught in Legal Skills while reviewing grammar, sentence structure and rules of writing.
The Academic Success Department's tutors provide assistance in core curriculum areas.
In the spring semester, bar review courses and practice workshops for the MPT and MEE are offered to students who will be taking state licensing bar exams in the summer.
