Checklist for admitted students

Welcome Admitted Students!

We are very happy you have decided to join us! The members of the Admissions Office here at Pierce Law, Katie McDonald, Barbara Wilson and Mary Magoon, are committed to helping you. On this page you will find the important deadlines and procedures you must follow to secure your seat in the next entering JD class. There are separate procedures for admitted graduate students.

We encourage you to visit the school; we just ask that you let us know your plans. We'll be happy to have you tour campus, speak with students, and attend a class. You can reach us at admissions@piercelaw.edu or (603) 228-9217.

Deadlines and procedures

April 15, 2008 First Seat Deposit
$200 nonrefundable seat deposit is due.

To secure your seat in the Fall 2008 entering class, you are required to pay a deposit of $400 in two installments. While your seat deposit is nonrefundable, it will be applied toward your tuition when you enroll. Your first $200 deposit is due in the Pierce Law Admissions Office on or before April 15, 2008. Payment may be made by check, money order or credit card.

Complete your Pierce Law Financial Aid Application
U. S. citizens and U.S. permanent residents are eligible for financial aid. Both the FAFSA and Pierce Law financial aid applications are used to determine your full financial aid package. The FAFSA is available at www.FAFSA.ed.gov after January 1, 2008. Download the Pierce Law Financial Aid Application, then complete and return it to the Financial Aid office.

If you have not received your financial aid award within 2 weeks of completing the FAFSA and Pierce Law Financial Aid Application, please contact Lynn Froleiks.

International Students
Complete and return the Financial Supplemental Form . The FSF must be completed and received by the Admissions Office with supporting financial documents and your first deposit of $200 before Pierce Law can issue an I–20.

June 2, 2008 Second Seat Deposit
$200 nonrefundable seat deposit is due.

Please request an Official Transcript.
As required by the American Bar Association, your offer of admission is contingent upon our receipt of an official undergraduate transcript verifying completion of your baccalaureate degree. The transcript provided by LSDAS is a photocopy and is not official. Please make arrangements to have your official undergraduate transcript forwarded directly to us from your undergraduate institution upon completion of your undergraduate degree. You may also want to request an official copy for your own records.
