With the help of an alumni mentor, Shannon Gully gained experience in the practice of law while working in San Francisco, CA at the U.S. Department of Transportation Summer Internship Program.
"If I had not contacted Pierce Law alumna Bonnie Graves '99 for advice about working for the government, I never would have known about the U.S. Department of Transportation summer internship program known as the Summer Transportation Internship Program for Diverse Groups (STIPDG). With her great advice and help, I was able to obtain a summer internship in San Francisco. It was a terrific experience. I gained a lot of valuable work experience that will help me as I pursue my legal career."
