Meet our Faculty
Spotlight On: Mitchell Simon
Professor Mitchell Simon is an expert on legal ethics, health law, and elder law.
"I decided to leave an active public interest law practice after 11
years because I wanted the opportunity to assist law students to
acquire both the requisite skills to practice competently and an
understanding of the social and political consequences of the way they
choose to practice law. I look forward each day with great enthusiasm
to class discussions regarding the critical legal issues we in society
face. My goals for teaching are simple: help students, to avoid the
dumb practical mistakes I made, to build an analytical foundation for
professional growth, and, to present issues confronting the sectors of
our society which are often ignored by the legal profession."
