Intellectual Property Summer Institute (IPSI) 2009
Summer Programs Application Checklist
Franklin Pierce students are not required to apply online for IPSI and therefore do not need to pay a deposit fee.
1.) Complete the application featured on the website and submit it electronically. Please read the application carefully and fill out all sections pertinent to IPSI and any other summer program(s) you are interested in.
Section 1: Part A, Part B & Part C: Required of all participants in the summer programs.
Section 2: Required of all participants in CHIPSI and eLAW.
Section 3: Required of all participants in CHIPSI.
Section 4: Required of all participants in IPSI.
Section 5: Required of all participants in the summer programs.
2.) You must submit a letter from your law school stating that you are in good academic standing. Note: this is not required for Pierce Law students.
3.) A personal statement of interest is required. In section B of the online application, you will be required to submit a statement of 500 words or less.
4.) Application deposit fee. Please submit the non-refundable application fee, by U.S. Mail, or pay by credit card by calling the Summer Programs Office at (603) 228-1541. We will not process your application until we have received the application fee. The application deposit fees are as follows:
IPSI: $200
CHIPSI: $500
eLAW: $500
ICLJ: $200
Please note: If you are applying to more than one program, you will need to submit the appropriate amount for each program of interest.
5.) Tsinghua form is required of all applicants applying to the China Intellectual Property Summer Program. Please fill out the form and return to Franklin Pierce Law Center.
6.) The TOEFL is not required for admission for the course, unless you are a non-native speaker of English, taking the course for credit and are requesting extra time on examinations. Such students must submit a current (not more than two years old) TOEFL score or a letter from their home school attesting to the score they have on file.
