Community Service Day
The Public Interest Coalition (PIC) organizes programs, including the
Annual Bruce Friedman Community Service Day.What is Community Service Day?
In memory of long-time Pierce Law Professor and Clinical Director, Bruce Friedman, PIC organizes and sponsors a day of service which all in the Pierce Law Community are invited and encouraged to participate. Volunteers from Pierce Law sign up to spend a Saturday morning working for Concord non-profit organizations such as the Salvation Army, the Friends Program, Good Will, N.H. Dress for Success, the Friendly Kitchen, and others.
Who organizes Community Service Day?
There will be a Bruce Friedman Community Service Day Chair appointed. An organizational meeting and sign-up information will be announced.
How can I get involved in PIC events?
Meetings are announced by e-mail and on the BBS. If you are unable to attend scheduled meetings, you can still get involved by volunteering to work on projects such as Community Service day and the Annual PIC Auction. Please contact any of the PIC Co-chairs or the Community Service Day Chair if you wish to volunteer or need more information.
