An honors graduate of Princeton University and Georgetown University Law Center, Visiting Professor of Law Keith R. Fisher is a nationally recognized expert in banking law and financial services regulation, legal ethics and mergers and acquisitions.
Following a federal judicial clerkship, Fisher practiced law in Washington, D.C. and was a partner in a major law firm when he decided to pursue a career in academia.
In addition to his corporate, banking, and commercial practice, he worked on a number of Supreme Court matters with appellate legend E. Barrett Prettyman, Jr. and John G. Roberts, now the Chief Justice of the United States.
His scholarship has appeared in many law reviews and has won several awards and honoraria. He has been active in bar association work and is currently part of the leadership of the A.B.A. Business Law Section.
Keith R. Fisher has a degree in music theory and composition, having studied as a child at the Juilliard School in New York, is an avid chess player and speaks several foreign languages.
